When we were preparing for our first post lock down shoot with Halle, I ordered a few new pieces of clothing, with new outfits in mind. HOWEVER, I also knew that I wanted to capture this Anine Bing tee that has been on repeat over the past few months.  When I saw these joggers, I knew they would create the perfect look. And by the perfect look I mean, a mix between #quarantine lounge wear and street style.  Something I am actually wearing regularly. Usually, when I have these grand ideas for outfits, especially for photo shoots with Catherine, I order the pieces and the outfit doesn’t turn out exactly how I envisioned it.  THIS TIME THOUGH: it actually worked. The addition of the boots dresses up the look, but if you are working at home, slippers would totally work too.

I was so happy with the way this look turned out and even though it was a little hot for sweatpants outside when we shot these photos, the days are getting cooler, plus most of us are working inside (at home or safely back to work).  If you follow along with me on IG, you know that I have been a huge fan of Anine Bing tees for a while now. Ever since Catherine put me onto them last summer, they are a staple in my closet.  At $99, you are paying a little more for a graphic tee, but I have to say they are 100% worth it.  They are SO SOFT and you get designer quality without having to spend $400. I find myself reaching for one or the other of the ones I own oh so frequently.

So, if you still working from home and are looking to “get dressed” each day, the graphic tee + jogger look is one that I highly recommend. It is also perfect for the transitional weather we are experiencing right now! Don’t get me wrong, I love to layer up with a nice maxi dress during the fall and feel pretty on occasion, but sweats and tees are simply the most comfortable, IMO!
