If you are a busy women who enjoys the glamorous process of getting ready but don’t always have the time you need for FULL glam, this product review of Color Wow’s Dreamcoat Supernatural Spray is for you.

Color Wow Dreamcoat Supernatural Spray is a haircare product that I have been eyeing for weeks. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price point and because I tend to be a sucker for products involved in the oh-so-fun process of getting ready and have been duped by this category’s advertising more times than I can count. (Hence why I have a blog basically about shopping L O L)

First and foremost, I am all about optimizing my life.

When it comes to my glam routine (makeup and hair), I value products and rituals that save me time and make getting ready for the day or an event easier. This usually looks like a product that can do double-duty and Color WOW Supernatural Spray fits the bill – it works as a heat protectant AND a dreamcoat for your hair.

Secondly, its frizz fighting properties makes your at-home-blowout look salon worthy.

IDK about you but I am not great at blowing my own hair out and this product made me feel (and look) otherwise. My hair was frizz free after I activated the product with a blow dryer and tension on towel dried hair.

Before you start thinking that ‘this product is too much of a hassle for your strenuous duty of washing and doing your hair’, let’s move onto the third reason I love this Color Wow product: it last 3-4 washes.

YES. After your first tension filled blow out where you liberally applied this product to your sections of hair, you can potentially not have to use it again for another few washes. Of course this depends on your hair type and what not, but what a selling point. This benefit of the Color Wow product alone sold me and continues to sell me on it’s efficiency and the price point.

The fourth reason I love this product is that it makes your hair feel weightless and feathery so that you can preserve volume at the root.

I am a big fan of volume in my hair.

Last but not least, the fifth reason I love this product is that it is humidity proofing and glossifying.

Is there anything else we could ask for in a product that you only have to use every few washes? Talk about glam routine optimization AND building confidence in your very own blow out skills. There is also a version of this product for curly hair.

T3 IS CURRENTLY HAVING THEIR SUMMER SALE!

t3 micro is a high tech hairstyling tool company that makes styling your hair not only fun but easy and the whirl trio is what I use everyday.

I never knew how to curl my hair in a way that I felt proud of growing up. I tried sleeping in curlers, using hot curlers, and a wide range of different curling irons and I just couldn’t make it work! I am convinced that is because T3 Micro didn’t come out until 2003 and the curling irons I used were not user friendly. I swear, before t3 micro, every time I curled my hair myself or asked for curls in the salon, I came out looking – as Rebecca would say – “like a poodle!”

Since I have started using this t3 micro Twirl Trio, you will rarely see me without curls or waves in my hair. I guess you could say it is now my “lewk.” The twirl trio comes with an interchangeable base and 3 different size wands for a variety of different styles. While I have other wands, I usually stick to the 1 inch barrel for my hairstyling. You can watch me do my hair on my Reels on Instagram here but what I usually do is curl my hair away from my face (yes on both sides and no I don’t alternate, I do them all one way) and leave the ends straight. On the off chance that my ends are looking a little bent, I get out my straightener and straighten those puppies right out. I am a big fan of the wavy bend with a straight end.

T3 has other cool product features that I enjoy. First of all, it heats up super fast and has 5 heat settings that will curl your hair in seconds. For all of those forgetful ladies who torment themselves after doing their hair, wondering if they unplugged all of their styling tools before they left the house (IT ME!) – fear not. This t3 styling tool has a one hour shut off safety feature. What a relief, right? Like I mentioned earlier, the interchangeable barrel is awesome because whether your style changes or your hair grows, you can purchase a different kind of barrel without having to replace your entire wand!

NOTE FROM REB:

I am hopeless with a curling wand, but I do love a few of T3’s other products!! I am currently loving the AIREBRUSH DUO && LUCEA ID straightener! If you aren’t one for curling your hair or beachy waves, these two will have you SET with salon-style blowout at home or straight, glossy locks. The Cura Luxe hair dyer is a favorite as well. If you’re a “do your hair everyday” kinda gal, these are the tools for you.

My new skincare routine with clean skincare brand Follain.

FOLLAIN REALLY KNOWS THE CLEAN BEAUTY GAME.

Follain was founded in 2013 with founder Tara’s mission to curate a store that sold clean beauty. Products with none of the bad stuff in them.  She was on a mission to lead a clean lifestyle and along with eating clean, she was determined to do the same with the products she put on her body as well.  She quit her corporate job and spent time researching the best beauty options for people and the planet! For years, they curated the shop with clean beauty brands like Herbivore Botanicals, ILIA, Indie Lee, OSEA and Ursa Major.

In addition to these fabulous brands, they also created their own clean skincare line.  In addition to being free of toxins, cruelty-free and dermatologist tested, their in-house Follain line is affordable.  I know for me, I have always wanted to indulge in the best options for my skin but that can be cost prohibitive. And they knew that. SO! This new routine that I have adopted is truly affordable and it works.  I have seriously sensitive skin and have had trouble in the past finding an entire skincare line that works for me.  I was excited to give Follain and chance and even more excited when each of the products worked for me.

Here is my current skincare routine with Follain:

HYDRATING CLEANSER – This creamy gel cleanser cleanses the skin without drying it out. It is a refreshing start to my day and perfectly removes makeup at night.

INDIE LEE BRIGHTENING CLEANSER – I alternate the Follain cleanser with this amazingggggg product. It makes my skin SO SO soft and it smells amazing. The combo of the two has my skin seriously soft and hydrated even during the winter.

ULTRA HYDRATING MASK –  If you have dry skin like me, especiallyyyyy during the winter, this is a must! I obviously do not use it after cleansing each time, but I have been using it once or twice a week during these dry winter months.  You can leave it on for just 20 minutes, or if you are like me, you can leave it on for a few hours and forget, getting that extra hydration

TONING MIST – This refreshing, hydrating mist balances your skin between cleansing and moisturizing!

MOISTURIZER – Replenish & Protect – This lightweight moisturizer deeply hydrates your skin without feeling heavy.  A little goes a long way with this super-product and it also acts a great primer for makeup.  Plus, it is clinically proven to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles (!!!!) I have to say, I was honestly surprised at how well this moisturizer worked.  Make sure to apply when your skin is still a little damp from spritzing with Toner Mist for best results.

EYE CREAM – Because at this age, I will do anything to help brighten my under eyes! This firming and brightening eye cream is formulated especially for the sensitive skin under your eyes and actively works to help depuff and energize.

The Follain Everything Soap is also now a staple in our household.

INNERSENSE I Create Waves – I rarely use heat on my hair to style, so I just need something to create texture and try to keep the waves in my hair active. I loveeeee this one from Innersense!

OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil: An employee at Follain suggested I try this for my growing belly to help prevent stretch marks and it is AMAZING. It has made my skin so, so soft. Would recommend for anyone to use.

OSEA Anti-Aging Body Balm:  This is also a brilliant product from Malibu-inspired brand OSEA. I have been using this on my dry, wrinkly hands this winter and can already tell a difference.

Herbivore Coco Rose Body Polish: I LOVE Herbivore and this has been a favorite product of mine for a while.  Exfoliants and hydrates, leaving skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Herbivore Detox Bath Salts: The Eucalyptus and Lavendar are the ultimate calming ingredients in these bath salts.  Great for some relaxing me-time.

ILIA Lip Balm: I love a good lip balm that actually hydrates with a bit of color and this ILIA one has been a go-to for a while now.  Highly recommend.   If you are looking for clean makeup, ILIA has lots of reallyyyyy great options.

Another thing that we learned in Quarantine is how to spend less, and on things we really want! As fashion bloggers, we are often buying things to try out so that we can spread the word to you guys about what we like and don’t like. We are also gifted products (usually beauty) to share with you as well. We try to share only things that we truly believe in, but often will link similar products as well.

Today, we are sharing a handful of things we purchased this month and really loved. These won’t break the bank and range from candles to earrings, to sunglasses and accessories. We are going to try and make these posts a regular thing here on the blog and hope you find them helpful and useful!

Dress Up Star Set – I snagged this super comfortable star set when I was in Savannah for my sister-in-laws bachelorette party and have basically been living in it at home ever since. Everything from Dress Up is under $50, super soft and comfy. Highly recommend checking out this boutique!

Eminence Apricot Body Oil – Our local organic spa, Scents of Serenity, uses the Apricot Oil has a luxury add on during your massage, but you can also use it at home on its own.  You can also add a few drops to your daily moisturizer or drop it into the bath for a soak.

Sunglasses Chain // They can basically double as mask chains. The most hip summer accessory and Catherine can SURELY rock them, as she can almost any trend. Are you guys into this trend or na? Revolve has a bunch of great options.

Firm Skin Acai Booster Serum – This serum is excellent. You only need two drops, as it is super concentrated. A little bit goes a long way towards rejuvenating your skin.

Tropical Vanilla Day Cream w SPF 40 – I use this moisturizer in the morning, because it has SPF! A little bit goes a long way this one, too because it is extraaaa thick & hydrating. Smells amazing, too.

8. THE GOOD PATCH // I have used the Hangover Patch in the past and although it didn’t miraculously cure the worst hangover I’ve had in a while it certainly made me feel better! Looking forward to trying out the other patches as well.

9. natureofthings RESTORATIVE FLORAL BATH // I am DYING to use this! I am saving it for a special occasion because of its absolutely luxe nature.  This Floral bath soak will detoxify your body and its gem rich formula has metaphysical and energy-clearing properties.
