Despite a dreary week of is-it-or-isn’t-it gonna rain days this week, May is off to a pretty fantastic start. Because my birthday is the day after Christmas, I have never really liked making a big deal out of my birthdays (except that time we got a party bus for my 25th) so I especially love it when May rolls around because Catherine loves to celebrate hers.  Fun fact about our friendship: we re-connected after college 4 years ago and our first real hoorah was Cath’s birthday – so maybe that’s another reason I enjoy the celebration each year!

This year, in case you missed Cath’s post on Tuesday, we are going to celebrate it over the weekend, while also taking over the Bloglovin’ Snapchat and sharing our favorite places around town.  We love, love, love #RVA and can’t wait to show off our favorite rooftops, breweries, shops and more.
