I love sharing all of my quirky, fun, dressed up, and staged looks for you guys on here and over on my own site.  It gives me a space to be creative with my outfits and show y’all all sorts of fun possibilities.  However, I noticed that I shy away from sharing things that I actually wear on a daily basis.  Sure I’ve shared plenty of my favorite sweaters, jeans and other classic staples with you but this is different! If you follow me on IG or tiktok, you’ve probably seen a slew of my everyday looks and I think that this one is the most everyday of them all.

When I was choosing which outfits I wanted to shoot with Divina Stennfeld in Austin before the pandemic hit,  I had picked out some sequin pants with heels and a tee, but I realized that look was not comfortable for me.  It would have made for a hell of a shoot and some fun inspo for party and occasion looks (NYE, etc), but since I only had time to shoot a few looks I decided to keep it simple.  You guys already know I love my Gucci slides, and usually I just throw on a pair of loose fitting black pants (when I’m not wearing my Spanx leggings) and a tee and call it a day.  I have the luxury of not having a strict dress code at work, so keeping it simple and comfortable is my go-to.  SO! If you like to be comfy, yet chic at the same time, keep on reading for some great designer & affordable options.

quarantine edit: This combo is especially crucial for these stay at home days, because even though you are getting out of your pajamas, you are still getting dressed! A comfy pair of pants and a tee : certainly not a groundbreaking idea, but still classic and stylish.

I love a good designer tee, because they truly do last forever, and I am a firm believer in quality over quantity.  But don’t worry, I’ve rounded up some affordable pieces too.

~PANTS~
The pair I’m wearing here is like 5 years old from Zara, but there are plenty of similar options out there right now! A go-to pair of comfy, yet-socially-acceptable-in-public pants is a must in my opinion.

~SLIDES~
You guys already know how I feel about my Gucci slides.  BUT, I know the price tag might seem ridiculous at times, so here are some more wallet-friendly options, too.
