because of the, ya know, pandemic, we haven’t been able to create a ton of content yet this winter. so, we’re recycling from years past while bringing you current winter fashion picks.

Instead of just bringing you a post with some winter essentials, I thought we could make things interesting! Here are a few fun and funky ideas to make your outfits stand out this year.

Faux Fur Coat // I know we already shared our faux fur post of the season a few weeks ago, but Holiday content has a tendency to overshadow everything so we figured it is worth mentioning again! With outdoor gatherings increasing due to covid, outerwear is in the spotlight this year. A funky fur coat can spice up your winter looks while also keeping you cozy.

Beanie // Keep your head warm while also adding a little something to top off your look! While Cath can rock her hats any day of the week, I have to wait til the cooler months because the only hat I can pull off is a beanie, lolol. But really, embrace your inner hipster or snow bunny and grab a cozy cap today.

High Socks // This one is kind of selfish because my sister was beyond amazing and generous and got me Gucci knee socks for my birthday and I have been dreaming of how to style them ever since! I’m thinking mini dress, layered with sweater or shacket and a coat and chunky boots. We’ll see if my vision comes to life next week, but in the meantime, here are some other knee sock options for you to play around with!

These are also really great for your time at home when you might be lounging around in a robe, nightgown or sweater dress and need a little extra warmth on your legs & feet. What a synonym for funky? Hip? Here are some hip knee sock options to keep things interesting, hehe.

Chunky Knits // This is an obvious one, we know, but sometimes the obvious ones still need to be mentioned. We have been spending our days inside, in cozy sweaters, and assume you are doing the same! I recently organized my closet only to find that I had so many plain black sweaters, but only one or two that were *interesting.* (the Free People Easy Street Tunic) So, I have been on the lookout for pieces to spice things up in my wardrobe and excited to share with you some great options that I found!

Sweater Vests // or as most websites have them listed “knit tanks”. This is a trend I saw floating around on cool girl instagram and was certain I would not be able to pull off. However, I gave it a shot anyways and I gotta say I love it. You can add an extra layer without getting hot, and add some extra texture to your looks, making for quite an interesting *drip* as the cool kids say. I ordered one or two more and am hoping my next outfit vision comes to life when we shoot with Halle next week.
