Here’s your Valentine’s Day week reminder to go look in the mirror and say “I Love You.” At first, you will feel stupid AF but just trust me, it’s the silly things like this that make all the difference

Felt appropriate to start off this brief, happy Valentine’s Day Post with one of Catherine’s instagram captions from earlier in the week! To be honest, I had to ask her if this was her quoting Louise Hay or if it was Louise Hay’s idea and her relaying the message to us. It was the latter, clearly, but that lead me to Louise Hay’s affirmation of the day for today which is:

I forgive myself and set myself free.

I don’t think there could be a more fitting affirmation of Valentine’s Day! We all need to forgive ourselves and set ourselves free in order to love ourselves, which we must do in order to love others. (That was a tongue twister) To me, this is the perfect message for the celebrated day of love and a perfect one to write down in your journal as a daily reminder. Don’t get caught up on misdoings in the past, but, instead forgive yourself and move on to bigger and better things! You deserve it.

SO- NOW- find the closest mirror and tell yourself “I love you, I really love you.”
