Over the past year or so, my body has been changing. I have gained weight in places I never had weight before and it has been a difficult thing to get used to. My new body. At the beginning of the summer I absolutely dreaded having to get into a bathing suit, and if you told me I would be posting a blog post in a bathing suit, I would have told you to kindly stfu.

It took some serious pep talks with myself and my husband telling me I’m beautiful over and over to start to feel comfortable and confident again. It’s an ongoing struggle and IWould love to discuss this more with anyone who is struggling with this too, just send me a DM on insta*

So when I started seeing the Summersalt One Pieces, that influencers boasted were flattering on everyone, I was curious to see if this might make me feel better getting into a bathing suit. I don’t have the body that some of these girls have but I had to know if they were worth the hype. I have a short, basically non-existent torso, so one pieces are always hit or miss, but I decided to give this one a shot! Obviously went for the black & white, but this one comes in plenty of other color combos.

THE VERDICT. don’t worry i’ll keep it short.

As expected, it gaps a little on the sides because of my non-existent torso. But, I found it to be flattering and a seriously quality suit for the price so I kept it! I was wary about the top being white, but, luckily, it isn’t see-through (whew). As I picked a suit that is called The Deep Dive, I knew it was going to be low cut, and it is. If you want something a little more conservative, they have plenty of other options I have linked above {I assume that their other one pieces will be just as flattering as this one is.} Jacey Duprie’s collection is especially cute if you like a preppy twist to your suits.

So, the ads are true. The suit is great and $95 is a great price for a quality suit.
