I have been sharing some of my favorite fall outfit ideas over on my personal blog, but this look is just too good not to share here too! (ICYMI here are the first two  posts: Amazon Dress & Marc Fisher Boots // Spanx, Sweater, Boots) I have to admit, I was wary about the paper bag faux leather shorts trend but decided to give it a shot. When I saw that J.ING had a pair, I knew I had to try them and create a fun look around the trendy piece.

You guys know I’m a big fan of J.ING ever since I started working with them last year and trust them for my elevated basics. All of their pieces feel like luxury items without the designer prices and you gotta appreciate that.  I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the shorts on with my latest J.ING blouse. I felt a little funny at first, tbh, but I loved how they looked. I wanted to show off the top of the shorts so I decided to wear the blouse unbuttoned and a favorite tank top. To make the outfit even more interesting, I paired the J.ING pieces with these croc inspired Nine West boots to give the look some dimension.

Nine West Maxim Boots – These boots basically speak for themselves, right? Last year I found my perfect pair of black croc inspired boots from ASOS and wore them to death. Like, all the time. SO, this year I figured I would add a brown pair to my closet and it is possible these make even more of a statement.  I generally wear a lot of black, so adding a pop of this brown changes things up. You can add these to any outfit and take it to the next level! Nine West has always been a trustworthy brand and trust me when I say that these are comfy AND good lookin’. The quality is 100 and I know I will be wearing them for years to come. Definitely worth the price tag.

Gorjana necklaces – If you guys follow me on instagram, you know I love gorjana. Their simple, cali inspired gold jewelry stands out on its own and is also perfect for layering.  I think my collection is up to 5 or 6 necklaces that I like to mix and match, but when I got this Charlie necklace this month, I thought it deserved it’s own moment. I’ve linked all my gorjana pieces for you below and I can vouch for each and every piece that they are all in heavy rotation around my neck and in my ears.
