*I told you guys I would be wearing this jacket non-stop*

Most of you guys know that my husband John is a high school English teacher, so each year I look forward to Spring Break! Last year, we took a road trip through the south and hit Gatlinburg, Nashville, Memphis and Oxford and it was so much fun.  And so much driving.  This year we decided to go visit some friends in Atlanta and then I would take John to Athens, home of UGA, where I spent my first year of college.  MUCH more to come about Athens, but here’s one of my looks from our trip.

In the weeks leading up to the trip, I wanted to find a piece that could be layered, but also warm-weather friendly, comfy and of course, affordable.  I landed on this striped midi from ASOS (of course), as the $40 price tag caught my eye. I had a VERY similar piece from the same brand that I wore into complete shambles last year, so it was time I replaced a tried and true with a new favorite.

It surely did not disappoint! It is seriously the comfiest piece in my closet right now. The weather in Athens was tricky because it was beautiful in the day when we headed out on our adventures but got chilly at night.  So naturally, I grabbed my trusty Tommy Jeans Jacket, slid some jeans on under the dress and VOILA, transition from day to night complete. Sure the jeans under the dress wasn’t ideal, but sometimes you gotta be practical people.
