Christmas is just over a week away, EEK! and New Years Eve is just over two weeks away, EEK! Whether you have plans to hit the town, or a simple dinner party with close friends, you still gotta have the perfect NYE look. We’ve had a not so surprising amount of NYE inspired looks over the years, as we tend to have two styles: simple & extra. If we aren’t sporting a casual, all black and neutral look, we are getting decked out in sequins. So we’ve rounded up a few of our style picks to help you get dressed for New Years.

LBDs: Ok, when I say LBDs, this year I am feeling super comfortable pieces, like the mini black dress above made out of sweatshirt material. Since I can’t exactly hit the town on NYE in an Abercrombie sweatsuit, this dress is my new favorite. Just short enough to show a little leg, but actually comfortable – and it has pockets! If you love the effect of a little black dress, but want something a little more practical this year, I’ve rounded up some great options & most are under $100!

METALLIC SKIRT: Metallic accent pieces are perfect for NYE. I loved this bronze skirt last year & Cath picked out a similar one this year to rock that baby bump! Pair a metallic maxi shirt with faux fur or a tied up blouse to make a statement this year!

SEQUINS: When in doubt, sequins. Sequins always plays for NYE. Cath wore the most amazing sequins number to her baby shower this weekend (seen on insta here) and it would totally double perfectly as an NYE dress. Sequin pants, tops and accent pieces are great picks too and there are so many great pieces out there right now!
