Black dresses on here, to me, the queen of only wearing black, are not ground breaking.

BUT! With each new season, and each new collection that comes out, I have to keep you guys updated on my current faves.  This strapless number I found on ASOS a few weeks ago sold out SO FAST, but I have found plenty of great options out there on Shopbop, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, J.ING & H&M. From slinky LBDs to flowy maxis and midis in between, I have found 20 great options for you guys.

My favorite thing about a black dress is how easily they can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. As Karl Lagerfeld said:

“One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a little black dress” 

I have my comfy black dresses that I wear on a daily basis, and then I have slinky slip dresses that can be dressed up with a pair of heels, for when we are able to go out comfortably again! I, personally, like to add a new black dress to my collection each summer, giving me plenty of options when it comes time to get dressed for any occasion.  Is a black dress a staple in your closet? Do you lean more towards dressy numbers, or comfy everyday pieces?
