I have honestly been wondering for years if SKIMS are worth the hype.  Everything the Kardashians do seems to turn to gold and make gazillions. While I might not be a huge fan of the fam or *keep up with the kardashians* on TV, I gotta admit, they are doing something right to have such a mega empire.

SO, I tried out 6 pieces from their cotton collection, because I figured those would be most comfortable to me right now in my 8 months pregnant body. Hardly anything is comfortable these days so trust me when I say, this was a true test.

THE VERDICT IS

THEY ARE WORTH THE HYPE. 

The price point is affordable. The pieces are comfortable, yet supportive in all the right places and most importantly for me right now, made me feel good. And that is hard to do these days! Here are my favorite pieces:

COTTON RIB TANK //

I got this tank in both Mineral & Soot (black) and I just LOVE it.  It is comfortable, yet supportive and has been in serious rotation, even as pajamas. It comes in 5 colors and you can mix and match to make a set with undies or shorts.  This is probably my favorite pieces that I tried.

COTTON RIB BOXER //

I just LOVEEEE these boxers and I think I will love them even more once the baby is here. They are definitely bump friendly and can come up over the bump or below, but I think will be ideal with no bump at all I’ll probably grab em in a few other colors once baby girl comes.

COTTON RIB SCOOP BRALETTE //

Talk about comfortable! I have really hated having to add wearing bras to my everyday life, so finding one that is comfortable with just the right amount of support has been crucial. And I love that this one can be worn *on its own* like I did in my maternity shoot! It is also great for wearing around the house and when paired with the cotton leggings, a perfect lil set.

COTTON RIB BRIEF //

I am a sucker for a full coverage underwear that is comfy for lounging, wearing with nightgowns, walking around in my house when I’m HOT, etc.  These are classic and how many times can I possibly say comfortable in one blog post?? The limit does not exist?!

COTTON RIB LEGGING //

I went ahead and grabbed these leggings to make another matching set with the black tops, even though I am SO HOT these days. They are so cozy and soft and I know I will get lots and lots of wear out of them after the summer temps pass.

I have heard great things from friends about the shapewear, underwear and other collections and now that I am a SKIMS fan through and through, I will definitely be trying out more pieces post-baby.
