Every year when April 4th strikes the calendar, I do my annual 30-days-until-my-new-year (birthday) bucket list. This usually involves wine, lots of texts to Rebecca, listening to some new jams, and making a list of things I want to accomplish before I am officially one year older. While my list consists of all kinds of crazy Cath endeavors that I won’t get into here, this year I decided that I am going to meditate everyday until May 4th. We are only three days in and I already feel like I have to give Rebecca a break from the (constant) meditation talk. That leaves you guys! Have any of you tried meditation? In classic Catherine fashion, I have been obsessive about it. In fact, this morning, I was following through with my meditation promise and to my own (kinda) surprise, woke up when I should’ve been walking into work. Tragic, I know…I was an hour late to work today due to my meditation obsession. A word to the wise: SIT UP while meditating.

Now about these threads I am wearing since this is a fashion blog: I haven’t gotten as many compliments on a shirt as I did wearing this one from Zero Degrees Celsius in awhile (what that says about me exactly I’m not sure, lol.) This blouse makes such a statement in any ensemble that it is super easy to style. Plain (cropped, but perfect for Catherine’s short legs – we’ve been down this road before) Topshop jeans + this shirt and I am out the door. Have you guys checked out their pieces yet?
