Coffee table books make the perfect statement in your home and are great gifts for your loved ones. From music, to fashion, to travel, to art – there is a statement coffee table book for everyone your list!
Unlike half-read books on your bookshelves, great coffee table books in your home make a statement. I love coffee table books because they are a statement piece AND a million other reasons. Not only are they beautiful but coffee table books make your space more interesting, flipping through their glossy pages is like a trip to another place, and their size is larger than life. I am partial to the fashion coffee table books, I mean hello – how beautiful is this Tom Fordone? The bold black and white cover really gets me.
so obsessed with my new knit sets from Nasty Gal, which would make the perfect cozy holiday ‘fits
A few weeks I went on a bit of a buying spree on one of the LTK Days and boy I am glad I did! I ordered three different knit sets from Nasty Gal and they came just in time for our trip to The Homestead. I basically lived in these pieces the whole weekend – wearing them together and mixing and matching. I especially love the sweater of the off the shoulder set, so I wore that on repeat with each pair of pants daily. It was just so cozy!! I brought all kinds of other outfits, but couldn’t resist cozying up in these pieces each morning.

The phases of the moon have always been fascinating to me. Over the past couple of years, I have really enjoyed learning about the phases of the moon and how to harness the natural power of the two most well known moon phases: the new moon and the full moon. During these two phases, the energy of the moon is most felt.
As I’ve said in several of my blogposts here and on cathclaire.com about the moon, mother moon affects the ocean tides, the growth of plants, and (among other things) human beings with her energy.
I’ve shared my full moon ritual here on The Crystal Press and touched on how a full moon is about completion.
By the looks of Instagram and other bloggers I follow, chic Christmas decor is going up early this year. In my opinion, it is never too early for *chic* Christmas cheer.
Whether you have been counting the days until November 1st to put up your Christmas decorations or prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving, I am sure you can already feel the Christmas cheer in the air. If you ask me, it’s undeniable. Everybody needs a break from 2020 and what better way to spruce up this *Stay at Home* thing than with chic Christmas decor?
If you haven’t decided on decor for your home or need to add a few things to your Christmas decor collection, I’ve got you covered with this blogpost. I am more than qualified for the task because your girl has been scouring the internet for WEEKS doing recon on the best and most chic Christmas decor available for delivery. Delivery is key for me because I rarely take Phoenix out to go shopping because
1. because he is HELLA wiggly these days
2. the pandemic and all..
So, Christmas decor being delivered to my door is where it’s at for me. Do you prefer to shop in store or having things delivered these days?
Anyways, I am pumped to show you guys some of the things I stumbled upon! I blame Hallmark because I have gone a little Christmas decor crazy this year peeps. While I am still waiting for more decor to be delivered, the packages that have arrived I put up the first week of November and I am ready to (Christmas) party.
Basically, the Hallmark Christmas movies will be on repeat in my sunroom -that is slowly but surely being transformed into a magical, warm and fuzzy Christmas oasis.
I have been sharing some of my favorite fall outfit ideas over on my personal blog, but this look is just too good not to share here too! (ICYMI here are the first two posts: Amazon Dress & Marc Fisher Boots // Spanx, Sweater, Boots) I have to admit, I was wary about the paper bag faux leather shorts trend but decided to give it a shot. When I saw that J.ING had a pair, I knew I had to try them and create a fun look around the trendy piece.
*the shorts pictured are now sold out but here are similar styles*
You guys know I’m a big fan of J.ING ever since I started working with them last year and trust them for my elevated basics. All of their pieces feel like luxury items without the designer prices and you gotta appreciate that. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the shorts on with my latest J.ING blouse. I felt a little funny at first, tbh, but I loved how they looked. I wanted to show off the top of the shorts so I decided to wear the blouse unbuttoned and a favorite tank top. To make the outfit even more interesting, I paired the J.ING pieces with these croc inspired Nine West boots to give the look some dimension. (more…)
