Day 5: Bumble and bumble

 
Ok, you caught us, we love a lot of things. Especially our giveaway items so it would be redundant to keep saying that we love this product and that brand. Instead, we will say that we cannot live without some of our Bumble and bumble products. We have become addicted to the pret-a-powder and the dry spun finish spray after having our hair done by some Bumble professionals in NYC. We have also seen their products at work backstage during fashion week and are always impressed with what they can do to transform a look.  (more…)

Day 3: Timeshel

timeshel-1I have been a timeshel subscriber since the company’s inception, and actually a Kickstarter donor to boot! Created by an old friend of mine (and his friend), I have loved the idea from the start because I have a serious thing for printed photos.  (Just ask anyone who saw my high school room, my dorm room, my various apartments and now my home). Timeshel’s easy to use app allows you to simply choose photos from your camera roll to be printed and sent to you each month.  You can choose 10 or 30 photos each month, and change your subscription at any time.  (more…)

Day 2: Minted

It is no secret that we love working with Minted. Earlier this year, we both did some redecorating and chose some really fun prints! (See Reb’s kitchen decor here // See Cath’s picks here).  However, Minted is not limited simply to home decor. Well, friends, it is finally winter here in good old V-A. Frost on the car, temperatures in the 30s and all of the other misery that the windy cold brings along with it. That being said – lets back track justtttt a little. Fall in Virginia is a tricky tricky time; one day it is 70 degrees and you’re wearing cutoffs and the next day you are bundling up in your coziest sweater because it is 45. However, I am constantly forgetting to check the weather before I get dressed in the morning, resulting in tons of grumbling and complaining to myself as I walk to the car to head to work.  (more…)

Reb and I love shooting at this spot in Richmond.

We have been coming back to this abandoned building in Scotts Addition with cameras in tow, in our TCP best (#ootd) for over a year now. However, when the two of us pulled up here to do our usual TCP thing recently, we were shocked to see what used to be a very white building painted grey. I have to admit we were both intially disappointed in not only this change, but the thought of the change that is impending our reliable shooting location.
