Day 11: Let’s Talk Towels

Today’s the day that I give you all a shameless plug for another little project I work on! For the past year or so my mom has been importing Turkish Towels and to say that the business has taken off would be the understatement of a lifetime. In the past year, she has expanded the inventory to include Robes, Blankets and Hand Towels and now has our bests friends (another mother/daughter duo) selling them as well.

Part of the fun of it for all of us is being able to share why we love the towels, how to use them and just generally selling them in person. However, we have certainly reached a point where Facebook messages, emails and instagram DMs for follow up sales are just too much, and we will be launching a website in early 2017. So stay tuned, y’all! For now, follow along on instagram or facebook

Today we are giving away what I like to call the Turkish Towel Starter Kit: a towel, a robe and two hand towels to a lucky winner! Trust me, super lucky. To qualify for our giveaway series, you must be subscribed to our email list (located in the sidebar).  For entry into today’s giveaway, follow the survey steps below. The more you do, the better your chance gets!

Peshtemal is a Turkish towel in the style of the legendary Hammam bath towels of Turkey.  Today, the Peshtemal has been rediscovered to be used in countless ways.  Known for its fast-drying, lightweight and compact nature, it is perfect for traveling, a day at the beach or a picnic, a scarf or shawl, a throw, or after a soothing bath or shower. Care: machine wash – cold, dry on low setting.  Softens with each wash.

These are beautiful! And what a wonderful idea for them to serve as robes! Would definitely try that.
