OKAY Y’ALL. I FINALLY HAVE THE SPANX LEGGINGS & THEY ARE MAGICAL.

For years, I have watched every fashion blogger & friend I know raving about the Spanx faux leather leggings, but I never took the plunge. $98 for leggings? They couldn’t be that great. However, I was sorely mistaken!! I actually snagged them on the Nordstrom Black Friday sale for my sister, but even then I didn’t think about getting them for myself. I thought I already had enough leggings. Wrong.
Luckily, my mom often knows what is best and she got them for me for Christmas!! I am truly amazed at how they do the whole “SPANX” thing and reallyyyyy suck you in (necessary around the holidays!), but they’re also comfortable. Like, seriously comfortable.
For my birthday dinner, I wore my go-to black sweater with my favorite knee-high croc boots and it looked fab, if I do say so myself. I also love them with my short Marc Fisher combat boots. I obviously brought them along with me to the Homestead and bounced around, as I do, in my leggings with a tee & sweater and also paired them with my Gucci slides & Emu Australia boots. SO, if you have been on the fence about trying them: take the plunge. You’ll be glad you did. Their versatility knows no bounds.
I also got the Canon G7x Mark III camera for Christmas and it is absolutely perfect. I wanted something that can fit easily in my purse, but takes way better photos than any iPhone. Carrying around a big DSLR is annoying, in addition to me not really knowing how to properly use it, so this is a game changer!
So far I’ve had John & my sister help me take photos and video and I look forward to capturing ALL the moments for TCP on it when we don’t have the luxury of having a photographer around! Being able to use the app to instantly transfer the photos to my phone is absolutely life changing. Welcome to 2020, me!
