We’ve made a lot of sweeping generalizations and grand statements on here over the years about our “favorite pieces.” I’m not saying that some of them have been wrong, but I am saying
black midi dresses are our favorite.
Without fail, each time we talk about our new go-to purchases, inevitably these include a new black midi dress. They’re comfy, easy to style and perfect for every day wear. This definitely isn’t the first time you’ve seen our love for this style both on the blog & on instagram which says a lot! (A favorite throwback post of Cath wearing one a few years ago here.) The first place we usually look is ASOS, obviously, but I have a few classics from Urban Outfitters and Free People as well.

PS. We took these photos at a local favorite spot : Chairlift at Brenner Pass. This is the cutest little place to grab a coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening and there’s plenty of space if you want to post up and work there for the day! This past visit we had a homemade hibiscus lemonade and it was DIVINE. Richmond friends, have you been yet?
